Dear LHCC Members I have received information on Friday from the Lakeside Hotel at Newby Bridge that due to increased Covid-19 restrictions in tier 2 they cannot offer us our Christmas lunch in two weeks, and have therefore cancelled our booking. We have discussed the possibility of having a Spring event around Easter once we are all properly vaccinated and safe to kiss, cuddle and huddle!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and please do protect yourselves from those who don’t practise social distancing.

To allow younger people to enjoy Historic Cars our club is unique in now offering for the first time a 50% membership discount for 18-30 year olds. This now allows this new group of members to benefit for only £10/year the fun of learning about Heritage Vehicles

Members are once again invited to attend our AGM at The Villa Hotel Levens at 7.30pm. Attendees will enjoy a free club supper after the AGM at around 8.45pm

Members of the LHCC have expressed many thanks for the (over 60) Historic Car events offered by the club for 2019, nearly all include free entrance and some offer free lunch for members, so the annual £20 membership fee is easily covered with the clubs benefits

All LHCC members are welcome to join us for our Annual General Meeting at the Villa Hotel, Levens for 8pm, a light supper will be served after the meeting.

48 Members joined us at our AGM last night where they re-elected existing members but also a new Treasurer and Events Secretary following recent resignations. Check the committee page for more details

We look forward to seeing members join us this week for our AGM including a free supper, hopefully the snow will have receded and many can make it to the Villa, Levens near Kendal. All members must sign in when they arrive.
